- This Student Handbook applies to students entering the Doctor of Pharmacy program in August 2023 and later. This handbook should be used in conjunction with other University informational publications, materials, or announcements. Students in the Doctor of Pharmacy program are subject to the following policies and procedures. Unlike degree requirements, changes in policies and procedures are immediate and supersede those in any prior student handbook. Each student enrolled is individually responsible for current University’s academic policies as published in the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo Course Catalog and the College of Pharmacy regulations, policies, and procedures.
This handbook is not a contract. The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy (DKICP) reserves the right to modify the policies and procedures described in this handbook at any time. Students will be notified through administrative updates via email of revisions and new editions of the handbook and are expected to familiarize themselves with any new or updated information. Questions and/or clarifications pertaining to policies and procedures or other issues should be directed to the Office of Academic Affairs.
