Students offer new webinars on managing anxiety and heart disease

DKICP is happy to share the latest additions to its Virtual Health Fair Webinar Series that deal with topics including managing anxiety disorders and heart disease.
The webinar “Anxiety Disorders and Management” was developed by P2 students Michi Abad, Ann-Janin Bacani, Cheyenne Garretson and Tomomi Kohno, and answers common questions about anxiety issues. In the 13-minute webinar, students define and discuss different types of anxiety, as well as common risk factors and causes. They give examples of common signs and symptoms, provide tips for managing anxiety and explain general treatment options and resources available.

In the second new webinar, titled “Heart Disease”, P3 students Kiera Javillonar, Jeff Michael Regalario and Brennan Palani Buccat explain the different types of heart disease, identify risk factors, and outline common treatment options.
