General Support for the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy
- Dean’s Enrichment
- Support the program and activities of the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at UH Hilo.
- Endowed Faculty Fund
- To provide a place for donations from others in the community who want to participate in the Centennial Campaign but who may not be able to meet endowment thresholds on their own.
- Faculty Fund
- To allow for community support from those who want to participate in the Centennial Campaign but who may not be able to meet endowment thresholds on their own.
- JM Long Foundation Fund
- The purpose of this fund is to support the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy's most pressing needs which include curriculum transformation, communications, the pharmacy residency program and the UH Hilo Pharmacy Enrichment.
- Funds shall be used for, but not limited to, consultant fees, faculty overload, online recruitment tools, website development, pharmacy residents, etc.
- Legacy Path Fund
- For DKICP Legacy Path enrichment.
- To be used for legacy path maintenance of area, materials, supplies, installation and program support.
- Pacific Islander Mobile Screening Clinic Fund
- The purpose of this fund is to support the programs and events of the Pacific Islander Mobile Screening program which will provide health education and wellness screening targeting medically underserved groups on the largely rural island of Hawaiʻi.
- Expenditures include but are not limited to equipment, supplies, travel, transportation, guest speakers, protocol and honorariums to faculty, staff and/or students.
- Pharmaceutical Researchers in Academia
- The purpose of this fund is to support the DKICP Pharmaceutical Science Department research.
- Acceptable use of funds may include but not be limited to research development, field-testing, educational document publication, protocol, travel, salary, stipends and supplies.
- Pharm Science Research
- This fund is to allow for donations from individuals or corporations to assist with the development of research for the Department of Pharmaceutical Science at the College of Pharmacy.
- Acceptable expenses may include but are not limited to research, field-testing, educational document publication, protocol, travel (faculty/staff/students), salary, stipends, and supplies.
- Rat Lungworm Disease Catchment Project Fund
- The purpose of this fund is to support research on traditional catchment water treatment systems to learn best practices for effectively keeping parasites out of water supplies.
- Catchment treatment products and systems will be tested to test their ability to stop rat lungworm larvae and effectively keep them out of household water supply.
- The primary purpose of this fund is to pay a lab manager salary. Other acceptable use of funds may include but not be limited to, testing, educational publications, travel accommodations (including mileage), materials and supplies.
- Rat Lungworm Disease Grocery Store Awareness Brochure
- The purpose of this fund is to support the production of rat lungworm disease grocery store awareness brochures for Hawaii Island and produced by The Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at UH Hilo. Acceptable use of funds may include but not be limited to, design, printing, distribution, materials and supplies, etc.
- Rat Lungworm Disease Research
- Donations will go towards the development of a long-term research mapping project of the Rat Lungworm Disease.
- Research Day Fund
- The purpose of this fund is to support the DKICP Research Day.
- Acceptable use of funds may include but not be limited to equipment, supplies, food service, personnel, and other expenses related to Pharmacy Research Day activities.
- Student Exchange Programs Fund
- To promote activities and opportunities to enhance student learning using a broad spectrum of activities that may include, but not be limited to: rotations, conferences, leadership training, travel, etc.
- Student Success Fund
- To promote activities and opportunities to enhance student learning, using a broad spectrum of activities that may include, but not be limited to: rotations, conferences, leadership training, etc.
